Trend Alert - Fluro Yellow

Trend Alert... Split Sheer Maxi Skirts

Sheer skirt fashion is really a great way to highlight your assets. This trend is becoming more and more popular this season as it is sexy without actually showing much skin at all. This trend has been spotted on celebrities such as the Olsen twins & Blake Lively. The trend is prominent on street style blogs from around the globe and is going to be BIG in Australia this Spring/Summer 2011.

The Blake Maxi Skirt features two high splits to the thigh and mini skirt detail under the sheer maxi skirt. Splits are also big this season and this skirt shows the splits as you walk. The beautiful Blake Skirt flows in the wind as you walk. Pair with a cropped tee to keep on trend this season.

Le Magazine 6 behind the scenes at Stockton Beach sand dunes...

Here's a behind the scenes look at the recent editorial shoot for Le Black Book's e-zine, Le Magazine. Lensed by Irene Nagayo, this summer inspired shoot was shot on location at Stockton Beach sand dunes in NSW Australia, 2.5 hours from Sydney.

All looks shown on the model are available online at Le Black Book from September 2011. Le Magazine Issue 6 will be live at Le Black Book in October 2011 just in time for the Australian summer.

Sport Luxe - Make a statement this Spring/Summer with Natalie Chapman

Natalie Chapman's SS10 collection has recently created a stir amoung those in the know. The collection of sport luxe bodycon dresses have been in hot demand. Why? They are made from a lycra blend & fit like a glove and they aren'y only for the petite. Natalie's made styles for the curvy women also with bloused silhouettes.

Now that the weathers warm and the sun is shining - NC SS10 is in full swing. I'll be wearing my 3 panel high bodycon dress this weekend to celebrate this beautiful weather. The SS collection peices LBB has picked up are also in the current In Style Magazine. In Style shot them on a roof top pool in New York earlier this year.

RAFW Zimmermann... Crop Tops and Cut Outs!

A great start to the second day of fashion week with Zimmermann, the Australian fashion week veterans. It was all in the details this morning with cut outs, slits and strips of fabric linking a dress together. A few cropped tops and wrap tops again - similar to the Miss Unkon styles we have available at the moment. The crop top is definately BIG next summer - as we predicted last summer!
