Bambi Northwood-Blyth plays a free spirit as she takes to the homes and roads of Palm Spring, California for the latest 10 Magazine. Lensed by Tierney Gearon and with set design by Frank Reps’ Kadu Lennox, Bambi dons the relaxed stylings of fashion editor Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou.

May Autumn Winter 2011 1st Drop Pre-Order Preview

Bambi Northwood & Lauren Brown walk for Chanel in Paris

This made my week! I'm so proud of the Australian girls making their mark on the international playing field.

The Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 show/extravaganza was executed at the Musée des Arts et Métiers, a museum in Paris that houses the collection of the National Conservatory of Arts and Industry and has become a runway location favoured by Karl Lagerfeld. The collection called Paris-Byzance, was inspired by the Empress Theodora and the lost culture of Byzantium - luxe jewel tones, gold chains, silk and feathers. Looking particularly amazing in all this excess were Aussie models Lauren Brown and Bambi Northwood-Blyth.

Here's the Bambi dress that Michael Lo Sordo named after the IT model (also the face of his current campaign).

Bambi bags Balenciaga - Spring/Summer 2011

She walked four shows in New York, two in London – second girl out at Giles Deacon and closing the Topshop Unique show. Balenciaga is of course far bigger news than any of the other shows. According to her mother agency, Priscillas, the Balenciaga option was in the pipeline for some time. Northwood-Blyth nearly blew it by blabbing to UK Vogue's blog - a post that was later removed.
