NYFW Beauty Trends
A/W shows have just kicked off again, and as per usual, it was over to NYC first. Some of the spring/summer beauty trends were on show again - wet look hair, anyone? But for 2012, there's definitely a lot more texture and volume. And one hair look definitely stands out from the crowd...
BIG IS BACK
Carolina Herrera & Oscar De La Renta showcasing another big trend for the season - headbands, along with Derek Lam.
New York also gave us a surprising amount of colour, given the fall season.

The easiest way to tone down this look off runway? Apply the finest stripe of coloured liner along the lashline, instead of shadow. Even the smallest pop of colour can have the same arresting effect.
New trend: "show scenting". Diptyque teamed up with a selection of designers this season to officially 'scent' their shows - Rachel Zoe, Victoria Beckham, Wes Gordon and Jenni Kayne all chose signature Diptyque scents to waft down their runways. What we wouldn't have done to get a whiff of those...
