This made my week! I'm so proud of the Australian girls making their mark on the international playing field.
The Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 show/extravaganza was executed at the Musée des Arts et Métiers, a museum in Paris that houses the collection of the National Conservatory of Arts and Industry and has become a runway location favoured by Karl Lagerfeld. The collection called Paris-Byzance, was inspired by the Empress Theodora and the lost culture of Byzantium - luxe jewel tones, gold chains, silk and feathers. Looking particularly amazing in all this excess were Aussie models Lauren Brown and Bambi Northwood-Blyth.
