Karl, Abbey & the new Chanel campaign
For his A/W 10-11 Chanel campaign, Karl Lagerfeld hit the streets of New York. Starring Freja Beha Erichsen and Abbey Lee Kershaw (who last season was spruiking for rival house Gucci), the shoot took place on the fire escape of one of the city’s iconic brownstone buildings on the Lower East Side. Karl pulled up alongside the girls in a cherry picker to photograph them. As you do.
