Congrats to Miranda & Orlando... It's a boy!
A BIG congratulations to Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr and "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Orlando Bloom who have welcomed a baby boy. We wish the new parents all the best with the new addition to their genetically blessed family.
The Victoria's Secret knockout was believed to have given birth on Thursday in a Los Angeles-area hospital. Her parents reportedly arrived to visit the happy family around 8:00pm local time.
Kerr's parents, Therese and John Kerr, who flew in from Australia to be with their daughter, were reportedly seen visiting the hospital last night.Earlier, a family member confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that the Aussie supermodel went into labour in the early hours of Friday morning (AEDT).The news follows a false alarm on Boxing Day, when it is understood Kerr reported contractions."We did get a text on Boxing Day saying she had gone into labour but it was false alarm but I can confirm she did go into labour early this morning,'' an Aussie-based family member told The Daily Telegraph.
"I have been trying to get in touch with (Kerr's parents) but everyone's phones are going to message bank.''
Recently, rumours circulated that Kerr was expecting a boy after she was spied shopping for boys clothes in LA.Despite giving birth in the US, the model has made it clear that her bub will spend a lot of time in Australia, tweeting recently that despite having a US, European and Australian passport, her first born will be 'an Aussie through and through'.
Kerr, 27, and Bloom, 33, began dating in late 2007. After the couple secretly wed in July 2010, the Aussie beauty confirmed that she was pregnant.
Kerr made history last month as the first pregnant model to appear on the cover of Vogue Australia. "It's been a great experience modeling while pregnant because I'm really proud of my belly and I'm really happy about this moment in my life," she said in an interview.
