Congrats to Girlfriend Model Search 2010 Winner Jemma Baines
Congrats to the 16 year old beauty from South Australia.
Jemma, the teenage daughter of Adelaide surrealist artist Andrew Baines, follows in the high-heeled steps of former finalists and Vogue cover girls, including Alyssa Sutherland, Catherine McNeil, Pania Rose, Samantha Harris, Abbey-Lee Kershaw, Sarah Stephens and last year's SA winner, Karri Pledger.
Jemma, along with fellow SA knockout Loren Harrison-Garton, was among finalists Jacqui McGrath, NSW, Tiffany Adcock, NSW, Maddison Brown, NSW, and Bridget Hollitt, Victoria, who were selected from a pool of 2764 national applicants.
She will have to juggle her uni work with her prize - a two-year contract with Chic Model Management, a meeting with NEXT Model Management agency in New York, a Rimmel London and Girlfriend prize pack as well as an all-expenses-paid trip to Sydney to feature in a Girlfriend fashion shoot (which will appear next Wednesday in the magazine)
